Welcome to minty.tools, a service provided by Icy Labs Ltd. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the minty.tools website and related services (“Service”). By using minty.tools, you agree to these Terms.
1. Overview of Services
minty.tools provides artists and creators with simple tools to mint their artwork as NFTs (non-fungible tokens) on supported blockchain networks. You can use the platform to mint either a 1-of-1 piece or a collection. A minting fee is charged by minty.tools. Users are also responsible for paying all applicable blockchain gas fees.
2. Royalties
By using the minting service, you will receive a 5% royalty on all secondary sales of NFTs created using our platform. These royalties are automatically encoded into the smart contract during the minting process.
3. IPFS Hosting and Content Storage
minty.tools will pin your NFT image and metadata to IPFS (InterPlanetary File System) using a third-party service. While icy labs Ltd. will cover the initial cost of pinning, we recommend you set up your own IPFS pinning to ensure long-term availability of your content. We are not responsible for data loss or content becoming unavailable due to IPFS unpinning or service outages.
4. Ownership and Responsibility
You retain full ownership of your artwork and NFTs minted through minty.tools. You are solely responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe on any intellectual property rights or violate any applicable laws. Icy Labs Ltd. does not review or verify the legality or authenticity of your artwork.
5. No Warranty
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind. Icy Labs Ltd. makes no guarantees about the uptime, availability, or continued operation of the Service. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Icy Labs Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
7. Modifications
Icy Labs Ltd. reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes via the website or by other means. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
